Car

We are very close to junction 35 on the M6. From the motorway take the exit signed for Morecambe, Carnforth & Milnthorpe. This is the first exit from the roundabout if you are approaching from the south or the third exit if you are approaching from the north. After 1/2 mile you come to a roundabout on the A6. From there take the second exit for Milnthorpe A6. After a further 1/2 mile you come to another roundabout where you take the second exit signed A6070 for Burton in Kendal. After another 1/2 mile you cross the motorway and the entrance to Greenlands Village is another 300 yards on your left.

The nearest train station is Carnforth which is located 2.5miles away and has direct trains stopping from Manchester Airport. It was in Carnforth Station that a scene from Brief Encounter was filmed in 1945, the Visitor Centre is really worth a visit.
